It is common to feel buzzing or “pins and needles” sensations when using stimulation devices, especially if you're new to them. Motive delivers an electrical stimulation therapy to activate motor neurons. Electrical stimulation may cause pins and needles, especially at lower intensity values.
We encourage you to increase your "Knee" and "Thigh" intensities to convert the pins-and-needles sensation to comfortable muscle activation.
Below are tips to ease any discomfort:
• Do not shave before your therapy session. Make sure you do not shave your thigh on the same day you are using your Motive Knee. The skin pores stay open for a day when you shave your skin and may become irritated during therapy.
• Replace the Motive Knee Therapy Pad after at least 14 sessions. If the Pad has dried out, it may contribute to a more intense sensation. Make sure your Therapy Pad is sticky and not old. Additionally, ensure the gel on your Pad is intact. You can purchase replacement Therapy Pads on MyMotive.com.
• Ensure your Therapy Pad is positioned correctly on your thigh, directly over the knee and thigh muscles. If it's not placed accurately, you may experience some discomfort. Take a moment to adjust the position according to the following image:

I've only used my new therapy pads that I ordered 3 times, and the app is already indicating that there is 0 pad life left on both of them. I cover them up with the enclosed protective shield, used conductive gel, and do not touch the pads. What is happening?
