Motive™ targets two of the four quadriceps muscles: the VMO (knee muscle) and the rectus femoris (thigh muscle). The knee and thigh muscles are different in size, and one might be weaker than the other. Therefore, the same intensity level might not work for both of them. The Knee and Thigh, therapy intensity levels can change from 1 to 100 on the MyMotive App. You may apply different intensity levels for knee and thigh muscles.
Why different intensities?
The knee and thigh areas shown in the MyMotive App each targeting a different muscle. Each muscle will have its own working stimulation intensity level, providing personalized comfort for each muscle type.
Due to the different sizes of the muscles in the knee and thigh, the intensity levels are often different. Moreover, the intensity level may vary from day to day. It is crucial to continue increasing the intensity until you see flexion in each area, which will look and feel like your knee and thigh muscles are moving.
You should set the intensity levels based on the treatment that suits you and your “feel.”
