There’s no set or designated intensity level to start with when using Motive™ therapy.
Motive Knee targets two key stabilizing muscle groups the knee and the thigh; whereas Motive Lower Back targets the lower back and glute muscles. Motive allows you to personalize the intensity levels for each muscle group, ranging from 1 to 100, on the MyMotive App. Everyone’s therapy level is unique.
You should increase stimulation intensity levels until you see or feel strong, comfortable flexing of your muscles. The stimulation should not cause discomfort or pain. You can adjust intensity levels throughout the therapy session.
NOTE:
Stimulation levels may change with each therapy session, and you may have different intensity levels on different days. The intensities can be affected by body type (such as weight), hydration level, muscle weakness level and condition, and gender.
