There’s no set or designated intensity level to start the Motive™ therapy.
The Knee and Thigh therapy intensity levels can change from 1 to 100 on the MyMotive App. Everyone’s therapy level is unique. You should increase stimulation intensity levels until you see strong, comfortable flexing of your muscles. The stimulation should not cause discomfort or pain. You can adjust intensity levels throughout the therapy session.
NOTE:
Increase until you feel and see your muscle move. It will feel like flexing.
- The stimulation intensity can be increased by tapping the “+” sign for both the knee and thigh.
- Tap the “–” sign to decrease the stimulation intensity during therapy both the knee and thigh.
You may experience:
- A tingling sensation in your thigh muscles, which is normal.
It is important to note that intensity levels for both knee and thigh may vary. You can set different intensity levels to stimulate your knee and thigh areas, and the levels may change with each therapy session. You may use different levels on different days.
Additionally, the intensity levels for the thigh and knee are affected by the following conditions:
- Body type (such as weight)
- Quadriceps muscle weakness level
- Gender
- Current knee condition
